Terms of Service

The Service

PostsBridge lets you compose content once and publish or schedule it to the social media accounts you connect. Publishing is always started by you: either immediately, or at the time you scheduled yourself. Features and supported platforms may change over time.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be authorized to use the social accounts you connect.

Connected Accounts and Authorization

You may connect and publish to a social account or YouTube channel only if you own it or are explicitly authorized by its owner to publish on its behalf.

You confirm that you hold all necessary rights to the video, audio, images, and text you upload, including music, footage, and any other third-party material, and that publishing them does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights. You are solely responsible for the content published through your connected accounts.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to publish unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or to violate the terms of any connected platform. You are solely responsible for the content you publish.

Content you publish to YouTube through PostsBridge must comply with the YouTube Community Guidelines, available at https://www.youtube.com/howyoutubeworks/policies/community-guidelines/, and with the YouTube Terms of Service, available at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms. We may suspend your access if you use PostsBridge to publish content that violates them.

YouTube Community Guidelines

Prohibited Use

You may not use PostsBridge to send spam or repetitive duplicate content, to mass-upload content you did not create or are not authorized to publish, to artificially inflate views, subscribers, or engagement, to circumvent the rate limits or quotas of a connected platform, to publish misleading, deceptive, or synthetic media without the required declaration, or to automate any activity that a connected platform prohibits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do so.

YouTube API Services

PostsBridge uses YouTube API Services to publish videos to the channel you connect. By connecting a YouTube channel and using the YouTube features of PostsBridge, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, available at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.

Google's handling of the data processed through those services is described in the Google Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can revoke PostsBridge's access to your Google Account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

PostsBridge requests only the permissions it needs to publish on your behalf and to identify your channel. What we access and store is described in our Privacy Policy.

Video Visibility and Required Declarations

Every video uploaded through PostsBridge is created as PRIVATE on your channel. PostsBridge offers no visibility choice today: the composer has no public or unlisted option, and the visibility is decided on our server, never by your browser. You can change the visibility yourself from YouTube Studio at any time after the upload.

Even after the YouTube API Services compliance audit is approved, public and unlisted visibility and scheduled public publishing remain closed until PostsBridge separately enables the feature and adds a visibility selector to the composer. Approval of the audit alone changes nothing for you; if this changes, these Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated first.

YouTube requires an audience declaration ("made for kids") and a declaration for realistic synthetic or altered media for every upload. PostsBridge does not guess these values on your behalf: you must set them yourself for each video, and a post cannot be created without them. You are responsible for the accuracy of those declarations.

Platform Limits and Quotas

Publishing depends on the quotas and rate limits that each platform applies. YouTube, for example, limits how many videos an application and a channel may upload per day. When a quota or rate limit is reached, PostsBridge does not fail your post immediately: it retries it in a later window (at least several hours later for daily-quota errors) and shows the status on the Posts page. If the limit is still in force after a bounded number of attempts, the post is marked as failed and you can send it again yourself from the Posts page. We therefore cannot guarantee that a post will be published at an exact moment.

Third-Party Platforms

Publishing relies on third-party platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, and Google (YouTube). We are not responsible for their availability, policies, or actions, including a platform rejecting, restricting, or removing your content, and your use of each platform is subject to that platform's own terms.

Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time, disconnect your social accounts, and request deletion of your account as described on our Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
