Data Deletion

Last updated: 2026-07-23

You are in control of your data. This page explains how to delete your PostsBridge data, in line with the requirements of connected platforms such as Meta and Google.

Disconnect a Single Platform

If you only want to remove one connection, open the Accounts page and disconnect that social account. We immediately delete the stored access and refresh tokens and the connection details for that platform, including the profile, page, or channel identifiers we kept for it.

Delete Your PostsBridge Account

To have your whole account removed, first disconnect your social accounts on the Accounts page, then email us at [email protected] from the address associated with your account and ask for your account to be deleted. We verify the request, delete your account and its data, and confirm when it is done.

Request Deletion by Email

You can request deletion at any time by emailing us at [email protected] from the address associated with your account. We verify the request, delete your data, and confirm by email when it is done. Requests sent by email do not receive a confirmation code.

If a connected platform (for example Meta) sends us an automated deletion request on your behalf, that request does receive a confirmation code, and its status can be checked at https://postsbridge.com/data-deletion/status/ followed by the code returned to the platform.

YouTube and Google Data

Disconnecting a YouTube channel on the Accounts page deletes everything we store for it: the encrypted access and refresh tokens, the channel ID, the channel name, the channel avatar URL, the subscriber count, and the link between that channel and your PostsBridge posts.

To withdraw PostsBridge's authorization on Google's side as well, remove PostsBridge from your Google Account security settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. We recommend doing this in addition to disconnecting inside PostsBridge.

Videos that were already uploaded to your channel stay on YouTube and are not deleted by PostsBridge. You can delete or change them yourself in YouTube Studio.

What Gets Deleted

Deletion removes your account profile, the stored access and refresh tokens for connected platforms, the profile, page, and channel identifiers of those connections, your created posts and their scheduling data, and uploaded media. Minimal records may be retained only where required by law or to prevent abuse.

Timeline

Disconnecting an account deletes its tokens and connection details immediately. Deletion requests sent by email are processed promptly and completed within 30 days at the latest. Content already published to third-party platforms is controlled by those platforms and must be removed there.
